About Me
Dear Friends,
What an adventure the past few years have been!
After graduating in 2017, I thought I had my life planned out....
I was totally wrong. I caught the travel bug and it changed my life.
There have been a lot of good times, a lot of hard lessons learned
and a lot of adventures recently, but I'm ready to see what comes next.
Previous major trips:
Italy (March/April 2018, April 2019)
Hawaii (March 2019)
Taiwan (July 2019)
Upcoming trips:
Taiwan (Dec. - July)
Philippines (March)
Korea (May)
Japan (June)
California (July)
Ohio (August)
Back to Taiwan (September)
I am passionate about learning languages. At the moment, I am learning Mandarin Chinese, Indian Sign Language, French, Italian and Pidgin English. Here I am send me ;P
I work as a journalist at NorwalkOhioNews.Com, in addition to teaching English online for Palfish. I also work at my town's park and rec department. I am pioneering (full-time Bible education work) and loving every second! On top of that, I am the oldest of four girls and since family is very important to me, I do all I can to take that responsibility seriously. Balancing a social life, getting enough rest (or at least attempting to), being a college student (until May) with several jobs and doing a lot of volunteer work can be very overwhelming at times. But, let me tell you, it is so worth it. I am very happy and although, saying I'm busy is a major understatement, it keeps my life exciting and I love that!
After many requests to send photos and stories from my trip and of the food, I decided to put it all in one place to make things easier for everyone! I will do my best to update when I can. Don't feel obligated to look at everything or to join a mailing list or anything. I created this for those who would like to see it. You're welcome to share the link with anyone who would enjoy my blog or asks for an update, but again, I'm not promoting myself, only sharing with those who would like to be in the loop. Thanks!
-xoxo Maddie
